My Next Stop Was Here ...
AIRLIE BEACH
Wasn’t my favourite place !! It rained for the 4 days I was there ... my Whitsundays trip which I thought was going to be incredible just wasn’t for me - I was so disappointed - everyone I got to talk to and my sister got an amazing experience out of Airlie Beach ! But hey ho everyone’s story is different I still did some exploring read more books and went to the toilet in the middle of the night to find a guy had fallen asleep drunk on the toilet !!!!
I was in Nomads Hostel which was nice enough - base camp was down the road and on the Oz experience bus you get vouchers for the bar there so the first evening I went there with people on my bus for a quiz or something !!
The lagoon like Cairns was lovely there too I just sat with my feet in it whilst reading most days !
The Whitsundays was just very wet lol it rained alllllll day , very bumpy ride , couldn’t get my breathing right to swim in the sea with a snorkel but I did see a turtle from the boat ! It was still very magical just not what I imagined in my head !!!
The sea was very warm and clear though - on a beautiful day it would of be surreal !!
I believe you still have to go !!! For the experience and the Whitsundays trips but just not the place for me :)
But on to the next stop ...
Rainbow Beach/ Frazer Island and that was definitely something to right home about so buckle in and get ready for a fun filled blog on FRAZER ISLAND
