Exploring London.

Hi Travel Feeders!

Here are some photos I took yesterday and today traveling around exploring London. This first I took on the way to check out a photography job yesterday. The "LONDON EYE" is a great sight on the skyline here!

Below are some photos I captured while out on my bicycle this morning. It is such a nice sunny day and perfect temperature for cycling. I snapped my bicycle chain 10 minutes into my adventure but luckily was near enough to a cycle shop to be able to stop by and get it fixed up before carrying on with my exploring! That was lucky!

It is so nice to explore around the river docks with its interesting collection of boats and the water which I love.

Here you can see the historic sailing ship "The Cutty Sark" to the right in this photo below. A merchant ship built in 1869 that brought tea back from China amongst other things.

Lovely day to be cycling around!! Wishing I could tag along on this little trip around London!
Would be nice to see a video!!

Have a nice weekend!

Have you ever been to London? Not sure about how to upload videos here yet but will have a think about that, thank you @kaminchan

Oh! Yup! A long time ago! It seems there are more skyscrapers there now.

If you are not using 3speak app, you could upload your videos onto your YouTube account. Then you just copy the YouTube link onto your post! It’s very fast and easy.

You have to check out community tabs. Travel posts could be posted onto their formats. Several to choose from; check out other people’s feeds on travel. You should pin your post on the world map to get more attention and upvotes.

Good luck.

thanks so much @kaminchan. You are most helpful and I appreciate it. Where do I find the world map?

Have a look at the above link.

Good luck.

Ah thank you so much @kaminchan 🙂

It is so interesting to see little bits of London not usually seen. Thanks for the chance to explore with you.

thanks so much @sallybeth23 for your support. Glad you enjoyed exploring a bit with me.

Thank you for this 'inside' look at London. My daughter went last year with my granddaughter....they took a lot of pictures. These sights were not among them :)

Thanks so much for commenting - That is cool that your daughter and grand daughter visited. I am not surprised you haven't seen these sights though- I am trying to get off the beaten track and show views of the city that visitors don't usually photograph.

I used to live in North London (very north - Enfield), before we moved to Central France. We didn't go into London as much as we should have (transport from Enfield is shocking). I visited the river a few times (once taking a group of kids across the river on one of the ferry boats for pie and mash). It's nice it's been cleaned up over the years. I grew up 30 miles (or so) up the River in a village called Wargrave (not far from Henley on Thames). As a kid (so 40+years ago) you didn't go in the river. It wasn't a place for swimming - it was dirty and unsafe. I fell in once and got a terrible rash!

Lovely comment thank you @felt.buzz That is interesting to read your experiences of London. I have not lived here long so it is still quite new to me. The river may be cleaner now but I would still not want to swim in it! lol
I hope your move to Central France was all you wanted it to be.
