RE: Runic Stones in Denmark!

in TravelFeed2 years ago

I've never really seen a real life Rune stone before, not even a real life picture. All my knowledge of it was limited to the refences I came across during playing certain video games. Seeing one for the first time really made me wish I looked into it more in the past. It looks like a past craved out from the history and it's without a doubt just mind blowing.

The stones in the field did caught my attention for a bit, and I can see the mentioned ship rock formation clearly XD But what surprised me more is to find out that these places are actually burial ground. The big, pointy shaped rocks used on mens grave and round, soft and little rocks used on womens. A really fascinating history fact.

this is a great fact I forgot! Thanks for pointing it out :)

There are quite a few rune stones in scandinavia; you should visit there!
