RE: Runic Stones in Denmark!

in TravelFeed2 years ago

It have been awhile since I heard the word Rune Stones. The meaning of Rune comes from the Germanic word for “mystery” or “secret. I have a set of rune stones that can be used for divination…not large rocks like in your photos but about and inch or so in length with markings on them. I never did master all the meanings.

Interesting arrangement of the field of stones. Hard to imagine what was the significance to place them like that. Often these arrangements are blamed on aliens or arranged so aliens can see them from the sky.

The homes look beautiful. Cute photo of the sheep.

I guess every stone that has a meaning and is marked with a symbol could be a rune stone. I suppose they also exist in every culture in some way. You are right, the type of rune stones you have is often used for these kinds of things; and again I would argue that it would be comparable to e.g. the I Ching used in China etc. People like to know about the future it seems :)

I think "blaming" aliens for all of the past artifacts is definitely not useful as it just puts the whole past in one pot so to speak. Although I am definitely open to the idea for some of the bigger constructions/mysteries...
