Maayo Argao with the Squad

As I was scanning the photos saved in my phone’s gallery, I was reminded of how fun my travels in 2021 was. I was trying to recall if I have already shared those travels here in hive and realized that some were not. So here’s one good place you can visit anytime soon.

Late in November 2021, our squad availed of the overnight promo of Maayo Argao Resort. We originally planned to have a day use but when we knew about the existing promo, we grabbed the opportunity. Their day-use that time was around 500+ pesos. They had this vaccinated promo for 1800 pesos per night, already good for 2 with breakfast included.

I was really looking forward for this trip because I have set my expectations already since I was able to visit the Maayo resort in San Remegio in the Northern portion of Cebu. And Maayo Argao did not fail my expectations. It was as lovely as the resort in San Remegio. Though, the place was a bit smaller compared to the resort in the North but the relaxing vibes, beautiful and artistic ambiance, staff, everything was also perfect!

Upon entering the place, you'll be greeted with this sight. We arrived late in the afternoon but just in time for our 3:00 pm check in. We headed directly to the reception area and waited for few minutes for our room keys and for the shuttle that will take us to where we'll stay.

Everyone were tired from lining up from the terminal, waiting for the bus and the long trip going to Argao. So, we decided to eat snacks and take a nap.

It was already dark when we woke up. Our nap took longer than planned. But it did not stopped us to go out and have a tour at the place.

Night swimming under the moon. The water was cold, the pool lights changes from green to red. It was a silent night since there were only few people in the pool area.

The next day, everyone woke up early to make the most out of our time their. We then changed into our prepared outfits and took photos everywhere.

This is why I always save hundreds of photos in my gallery. It makes me reminisce and remember those beautiful moments of with the people who matter. Also, it makes me crave for more travels and adventures. 🤣🤣🤣
