My family visiting

After 8 years of absence, my sister has come back to Anzoátegui state. Almost all my siblings have grown up here because we were born in the capital of the country, Caracas, except the youngest of my siblings who were born in this state.

The part of my family that has come here is my sister with her son and granddaughter. Now they have a week of vacation and they have come by public transportation from the state of Barinas and have spent the whole 24 hours in a bus, which is public transportation, until they arrived here, all of them spoiled but happy.

The day after arriving they went to the beach. I live very close to the Caribbean coast, with beautiful beaches surrounded by islands. Here is my little niece in town, she is very happy. She has settled right in front of the welcome sign.

They have gathered with relatives and everyone is on the beach but the ones having the most fun are the kids. They are jumping into the water and letting themselves be carried away by the gentle tide of the seashore. They are beaches of calm waves and musical sound, with a warm breeze that invites you to enjoy.

The beaches of this place have soft waves just for the fun of the little ones. There is also a boardwalk where several years ago before the pandemic I used to fish with my family on my days off... what memories!

Then my nephew has taken my little niece for a walk to get to know the surroundings of the beach, visiting recreational places for children. And at night he took her to visit another touristic place in the state of Anzoátegui, Puerto La Cruz.

This cross is a symbol of the name that represents the city and welcomes another very popular beach for tourists who visit us. Also, a beautiful beach although I did not take pictures.

The next day I took my little niece to eat some of the specialties of my region such as these delicious empanadas filled with fish typical of the area. In addition to some fruits that are difficult to get in his place of residence but here you can buy them more easily. A strawberry juice that is very delicious for anyone.

My nephew has taken her to a toy store in the area and she has chosen a very malleable plastic material to make her imaginary games and transform them into something physical. She is very happy making her crafts.

In a week she will leave and will take with her the most beautiful memories of the area.

Hi @gertu,
Great to see you posting to the TravelFeed community! We launched the #travelfeed curated tag more than 3 years ago and have been supporting the best travel blogs on Hive ever since. But did you know that TravelFeed has evolved? Based on the feedback of thousands of Hive travel bloggers we created TravelFeed.io.

TravelFeed.io brings together all the benefits of Hive decentralized blogging with features that you as a travel blogger will love: Photo galleries, Instagram embeds, custom maps and more. We also offer many of the features you love on Peakd such as drafts and post scheduling. And if you want, you can even use our easy site builder to set up your own travel blog on your own domain which can be a great way to generate a passive income from your blog!

Unfortunately, focussing on developing the best platform for travelers means that we no longer curate the #travelfeed tag and the TravelFeed Hive community. But, you can log in with your Hive account on TravelFeed.io to publish your next travel post, and it will be posted to Hive automatically! Every day, we select the best posts and reward them with an upvote and added visibility.

We would love to see you on TravelFeed.io soon :)

Thank you very much for your information. I am very grateful for that.

It is always nice when family come home to visit. I want to visit Caracas myself one day.
