With this post, I kickstart numerous travel-note-style posts. I will talk about a trip to the central part and the north of the Vologda region of Russia.
Litega is a village in the Sokolsky district of the Vologda region and the administrative center of the Prigorodny rural settlement. Distance to the district center of the Sokol city by road is 15 km.
The village is located on the banks of the Sukhona River.
And also in the area of the bridge over the Sukhona and in the place where the federal highway M8 Kholmogory runs at 496 kilometers.
Litega is home to about 800 people, which is quite a lot for a village.
If we talk about the river, then this is practically the very beginning of the Sukhona.
A little upstream will be the city of Sokol, where a large pulp and paper mill is located and where delicious condensed milk is made.
And downstream there will be a confluence with the Vologda River.
All views were taken directly from the bridge over the river.
These fields were flooded in spring with flood water, and now there is beauty and expanse.
The continuation will be about another settlement.
Congratulations @evildeathcore!
You raised your level and are now a Minnow!
