Friends, today I want to share with you my trip to Cayo Sombrero, located specifically in Morrocoy National Park in Tucacas, Venezuela.
Muchos saben que amo la playa y como parte de regalo a mi misma de graduación fui con mis amigos a diversos cayos pero hoy específicamente quiero compartir mi visita a cayo sombrero.
Many people know that I love the beach, and as part of my graduation gift to myself, I went with my friends to various keys, but today I specifically want to share my visit to Cayo Sombrero.
A las 9;40 de la mañana salimos caminando hacia el puerto que queda aproximadamente 15 minutos de la posada donde nos quedamos la cuál llevaba por nombre "Bella Vista"me encantó caminar porque ya sentía el sol sobre mi piel y el olor a playa inundaba mi olfato.En el camino mi amiga Frei que compro una sandalias para poder caminar tranquilamente.
At 9:40 in the morning, we set off on foot toward the port, which was about 15 minutes away from the inn where we were staying, called "Bella Vista." I loved walking because I could already feel the sun on my skin and the smell of the beach filled my senses. On the way, my friend Frei bought some sandals so she could walk comfortably.
Al llegar al puerto público donde teníamos planeado encontrarnos con una lancha deportiva que alquilamos para trasladarnos a diversos puertos pero este puerto estaba súper full y nos dijeron que mejor fuéramos al puerto privado que queda aproximadamente a 5 minutos de ahí y así lo hicimos que por cierto es súper lindo y se encontraba despejado y tranquilo.Y allí empezó nuestra maravillosa travesía
When we arrived at the public port where we had planned to meet a sports boat that we rented to take us to various ports, this port was extremely crowded, and we were advised to go to the private port, which is approximately 5 minutes away. We did so, and it is indeed very beautiful, uncrowded, and peaceful. And that is where our wonderful journey began.

El señor que nos llevó a todos los cayo se llama Julio fue súper amable y servicial duraste todo el recorrido, y siempre nos recordaba ponernos los chalecos porque si la guardia costera observaba que no llevamos los chalecos puesto pueden ponerle una multa al conductor de la lancha y ciertas restricciones durante el mes.
The gentleman who took us to all the cays was named Julio. He was extremely kind and helpful throughout the entire trip, and he always reminded us to wear our life jackets because if the coast guard saw that we weren't wearing them, they could fine the boat driver and impose certain restrictions for a month.
Yo estaba disfrutando el momento al máximo ya que sé que muchas cosas y momentos no se volverán a repetir,pero bueno como les decía el primer Cayo que visitamos fue Sombrero yo anteriormente había visitado varios Cayos pero jamás este ,me quedé totalmente enamorada apenas nos estacionamos junto a las otras lanchas.
I was enjoying the moment to the fullest because I know that many things and moments will never happen again, but anyway, as I was saying, the first cay we visited was Sombrero. I had visited several other cays before, but never this one, and I fell completely in love with it as soon as we parked next to the other boats.
En el mismo instante que nos estacionamos habían un montón de personas ofreciendo pruebas gratis de la comida que vendían, y obvio no perdí la oportunidad de probarla y de convencerme para comprar jaja no me pude resistir el camarón,y el pulpo me encantó nunca lo había probado y fue lo máximo.
The moment we parked, there were lots of people offering free samples of the food they were selling, and of course I didn't miss the opportunity to try it and convince myself to buy it haha. I couldn't resist the shrimp, and I loved the octopus. I had never tried it before and it was the best.
Estuvimos adentro de la playa varias horas pero algo de mi quería recorrer el cayo caminando ya que como les dije nunca lo había visitado y yo quería hacer un pequeño recorrido en tierra firme , inmediatamente todos mis amigos de sumaron y empezamos a caminar y llegamos a letrero distintivo del cayo.
We spent several hours on the beach, but part of me wanted to walk around the key because, as I said, I had never visited it before and I wanted to take a short walk on dry land. Immediately, all my friends joined me, and we started walking until we reached the distinctive sign for the key.
