Very interesting. Thanks for the clarification. It's helpful to see the distinction. It definitely doesn't seem there is much to compare it to here. Actually nothing in the western world at all I don't think. I thought maybe Vaudeville, but that was much less refined. They did a little bit of a lot of things there though.
Yeah I can't really think of anything exactly the same in the West. There are things here and there that mimic a little of what a geisha does, but nothing that has the whole package. It's a very unique thing.
