Forged in the Splinterlands!
Hello! Good night everyone, how are you? How have your Splinterforge battles been? Did they have a good evolution, did they earn a lot of points? I confess that I didn't manage to do many battles, because it was a very busy week, but gradually things settle down.
Anyway, I want to share with you a team composition that usually gets a high point value facing a bronze level monster, depending on your skills obviously.
An example of how many points I got:
Remembering that each battle is a different battle, sometimes the process works out, sometimes it doesn't. The skill that the boss acquires in each battle also directly affects whether the same team composition will work or not.
And which team would that be? Introducing our warriors, they are the ones that follow in the image below.
Choosing the Hero
Starting with the hero to be chosen, the best would be the warrior, because that way he would have a better synergy with the whole team, since he would gain +1 attack from the Demented Shark, but nothing prevents you from choosing the archer or the mage, because if you have better equipment for them, I believe it is better.
If you have other heroes with more health and protection, which consequently will make you last longer in battles, it might be better to trade an attack point for more resistance and duration in battle.
Team
Summoners don't need to be of high level, because here their level doesn't matter, so we can use Conqueror Jacek and Kelya Frendul at level 1 anyway. In my case I always rent Jacek, because I don't have him in my collection.
The reason for choosing them is the gain of 3 points in speed and 1 point of shield, not that having only 1 point of shield will really make a big difference, but speed is essential to try to perform actions more often than the boss that we will face.
As the text above says, the speed is geared towards a system that would be a kind of lap meter where the fastest units will perform their actions more often instead of everyone following the idea of turns.
For the monsters, there's not much secret, because we'll use the process of a tank that centralizes the boss's attacks and a team that will provide support.
We mainly depend on The Kraken staying alive, with his skill Taunt he will be the focus of the boss battle receiving all his attacks. As much as sometimes the boss's total attack is less than your life, for example, having a total of 13 points of attack and with that being 1 point less than your life (14), there comes a time when the boss will attack first than your support cards, so we couldn't heal it in time.
Not only being the punching bag, The Kraken with the Serpent of Eld and Demented Shark units becomes our attacking force, while we have the other 4 cards to offer support and keep our tank alive.
So, just to reinforce it, we will have two units that will heal The Kraken and another that will recover its armor. Creeping Ooze enters with the mission to remove 1 point of speed from the battle boss, as this will increase our chances of performing actions before him.
Do I need to rent?
Some cards you may need to rent, as I have to do too. Through PeakMonsters, we can favorite them to speed up the whole process.
As I said in my case I need to rent Conqueror Jacek, Spirit Hoarder, The Kraken and Serpent of Eld, remembering that all this for a bronze level boss, if you manage to move to the next levels you will need to hire more monsters with the corresponding level for the boss you will battle.
Now it's up to each one to see if it's worth trying to risk the fight with stronger bosses or gather a good Forge first by repeating the battles against the weakest boss.
Team Weaknesses
Depending on the skills the boss has, the team's efficiency may not be the best. These abilities, which generally have no difference between SplinterForge and Splinterlands, can greatly complicate the whole process of obtaining high points.
Taking the images from SplinterCards, some of these skills that complicate our lives, may be the following below.
- SHIELD
Decreases incoming damage since all attacks are physical
- THORNS
- RETALIATE
- FORCEFIELD
- FURY
These are some examples, I don't remember if skills like Dodge or Flying appear, but if so, then we can also include them in the list of negative skills for our strategy.
Finishing
Well, that's it, this strategy helps a lot to get high points and more items like Forge and Electrum at the end of each battle, but, for obvious reasons, it won't always work and a lot depends on the skills that the bosses will present to each battle.
I hope that soon it will bring other possibilities for assembling the team!
That is all! Thank you all and until the next post!
Forjado no Splinterlands!

That's a great lineup for Splinterforge battles. I have improved it a bit more using a rune in my equipment that allows me to play 3 white cards. Like that, I can add Silvershield Knight that comes with inspire as well. With that lineup I manage to get above 1000 pts per play with the according ruleset. Nice post!
I have picked this post on behalf of the @OurPick project and it will be highlighted in the next post!
Thank you so much for your support and I am very grateful to have been chosen by liotes! I still need to buy more packs to get some equipment, I'm fine at the beginning without getting many points, but little by little I'm improving!
