Recently, in a flower shop, I came across such an amazing cactus called MAMMILLARIA ELONGATA CRISTATA
I've never seen anything like it, and this cactus immediately caught my attention! It reminded me of a pile of peanuts in a pot)
The shop assistant could not provide any information about this cactus. He didn't even know when this cactus was watered for the last time ... But I immediately fell in love with this interesting species, and without hesitation bought it!

The pot in which it was sold was too small and the cactus started drooping around the edges, so I carefully transplanted it into a larger pot ...

You can probably look for care tips for a regular Mammilaria Elongata. They are super easy to grow!
If you are gonna keep it at home in winter, make sure she gets enough light and water very little and only when the soil is completely dry.
When it gets warmer you can probably keep it outside - cacti love fresh air, sun and rain (just don't keep them soaked all the time).
I can't wait to see yours bloom. I have a regular one, but those cristata forms can produce flowers along the edges which looks pretty cool :)

well, if not another way to keep it outside, then by an open window or just on another place with light. My mom takes them outside in spring and brings them inside in late autumn before the temperatures drop a lot. And her cacti are all fine and nice. My niece has some small cacti, but she keeps them always inside, during the whole year, and they are doing ok too. here they are.
