Dear readers,
Have you ever asked something from God (whatever form or source you believe in), and He rewarded you?
I recently heard the testimony of a person in the media who went through such an experience. I would like to know how you perceive this, how you believe we should approach God when seeking answers? How could God reward us in a way that we understand it is His will?
Is it a challenge to ask God for things, or is it something that comes naturally and is needed by a believer?
What are your thoughts on all of this? How do you see these matters from a religious, spiritual, and human perspective?
Thank You,
Maylena
I used to ask, when I was a child. It's possible that I ended up getting one or two of the things I prayed for, but I doubt it had much to do with divine interference.
It's a big universe, with infinite possibility, so I believe in all the gods, but I don't believe they spend much time meddling in the affairs of humans.
These days, when I try to manifest my desires into being, I remember an old saying I read in a book long ago, which I believe sums up the truth nicely:
"There may be fairies, there may be elves, but god helps those who help themselves."
Thank You for your insights in this matter. Although I embrace a less pragmatic approach, I definitely understand your views. Being proactive can be helpful for sure... and maybe along with a little faith, why not? Chers! Have a great start of the week!
