The commandment is something beautiful,it is holy. Psalm 96:9 “ o worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness, fear before him all the earth.”
It is a pronouncement of the scriptures for us to worship God in the beauty of his holiness. How ugly unrighteousness is, It is very ugly. seeing a man raping his own child is very ugly. It is gory, a mother being raped by her own son is gory really gory.
A man leaving his wife and having another family leaving his broken home is awful, it's ugly.
So, there really is beauty in holiness. Holiness is beautiful. Holiness is in God's commandments, the commandments is something beautiful, It is holy. Let us read Romans 7:12 “so the law is holy, and the commandments are holy and just and good”.
Holiness stems out from the commandments of God. Holiness comes from the commandments and from holiness it stems out of all beautiful things in life, a beautiful family, law abiding, father and mother of the family and children of the family,a well established home in accordance with God's will is a beautiful home. It's a beautiful place to live in. As the book of proverbs says in chapter 3:33. “ The Lord's curse is on the house of the wicked, but he blesses the abode of the righteous.”
God blessed the habitations of the righteous, even if it's just a small house or maybe it is a house in the squatters area. But if the person or the family living in it are righteous before the Lord, it is better and it is more beautiful to behold. That's why I believe that there is beauty in holiness and holiness comes from God's commandments because the commandments are holy.
Lastly, all holiness comes from God and his holiness is reflected in his commandments. God is a just God, a merciful God, a beautiful God, because all beauty is found in him, the beauty in nature.
