Happy weekend everyone. It is another great day as we delve into the word of God being thought in the Indoctrination series. Today's episode was quite a blessing and I was super glad to be a part of it. We all desire favor. In today's teaching I learnt that there is a kind of favour that a man can get by the reason of getting married.
Proverbs 18:22 - Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the LORD.
There are some instances of men's life that changed after they got married. Marriage can be a blessing. Aside from the material gifts been received after the wedding, it can also bring about spiritual blessings as well.
Ephesians 5:33 - Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.
It is the duty of a man to love his wife with the whole of his heart. The same measure to which a man loves himself is how he is expected to love his wife. And concerning the wife, she is expected to give reverence to her husband; that is being submissive to him. No matter the status or position a wife occupies, should never fail to bring herself under submission to her husband.
