For you to go to heaven, you need to know the way. Jesus emphatically states that he is the way, the truth and the life in John 14:6. This verse further states that our Lord Jesus Christ is the way to the Father.
The life of Jesus is eternal and everlasting. Our present life cannot sustain us in planets like Neptune and Pluto. We cannot even survive in the moon without gadgets that include an oxygen supplier because there's no oxygen there.
Buddha cannot take us to heaven. If he could, his teachings wouldn't have been faulty. For instance, his teaching that one should not worry about the future is misleading because it is reasonable to think and plan for the future. Apostle Paul in IICor. 12:14 states that parents lay up for their children. This means that parents plan and prepare their children for future life.
