Being a peacemaker according to the Bible(Part 1 of 4)

There are two things we can do: what is evil or what is good.
We are free. We have that freedom.

God will be coming to that point where He will eradicate everything that is evil. But this is what people do not understand, there is an appointed time of judgment, we cannot force everything to happen now because God has already appointed it. Acts 17:31;

"Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead"

When God raised Jesus Christ from dead, it is His assurance that every man that existed on earth will face judgment through the Lord Jesus Christ which is inevitable. Hebrews 9:27;

"And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment"

So if you cannot escape death, you cannot escape also the judgment. John 5:28;

"Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,

John 5:29;

"And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation"

Every person who has died before the judgment will be resurrected on judgment day. Revelation 20:11;

"And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them"

Revelation 20:12;

"And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works"

Before judgment day, our freedom remains. Deuteronomy 30:19;

"I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live"

We have the choice to do either what is evil or good. Galatians 5:13;

"For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another"

We have the power to do what is good and the power to do what is evil, that’s the reality of life. That’s why nobody can simple eradicate every evil now, until the judgment day comes.
