Today I learnt that we should do good unto all especially the house hold of faith. We should be a general representative of God's goodness by doing good to everyone.
Ephesians 2:10 I learnt that we are God's workmanship which is for the sole purpose of good work. We are created in Christ Jesus unto good works and this is more reason we should do good unto all without discrimination. Also today I learnt about the intense addiction and depression amongst people in the world, people abuse hard drugs and alcohol all over the world. We also learnt about the negative effect and the effect of alcohol addiction to the body. Alcohol is toxic to the body and it stresses the liver so much especially in metabolism.
It brings upon addiction to the body because we keep wanting that same amount of alcohol in our body thereby bringing cause to urges to drink. Nicotine also makes our vains weak causing anurism to the vain. All these has toxic effect to the body which is totally prohibited by the bible. As Christians we should not drink intoxicating drinks.
Ephesians 5:18 I learnt that we should not get drunk with wine when it is in excess but rather we should be filled with the holy Spirit. So God is against drunkenness and we should not take wine in excess but we should focus on filling our spiritual growth.
Lessons from today's mcgi care bible study
Today I learnt that we are God's workmanship which we are created in Jesus Christ unto good works. We should do good to all brethren especially unto the house hold of faith. God wants us to be of good deeds to people all around us without discrimination because we are created in Christ for the sole purpose of good deeds. Also we should always learn to show love to our fellow brethren in need and we should love our neighbors as we love ourselves thereby doing to your fellow man what you would want others to do to you.
Also today I learnt about the toxic effect of alcohol and nicotine to the body. I learnt that as true Christians we should desist from taking wine in excess but rather we should be filled with the holy spirit. Also addiction and drunkenness is against the doctrines of God. Excess alcohol stress our liver especially during metabolism and also addiction to nicotine weakens the vein thereby causing anurism.
