Today we learnt about the different definition of love, some say love is blind and some say you never get the need to say I'm sorry. There are different way to express love to our loved ones. What is love? I learnt that life becomes happier when we treat people with love. According to studies to mention a few like Eros(Shows intimacy and romance), Agape (one of a kind love which is selfless), ludus love ( playful love), Pragma love (Found in long term relationship) and lot more
According to the Bible what is love?
1 Corinthians 13: 4 I learnt that love is not hard hearted and if we have love we can easily give consideration to situation. We become kind, with zero envy. Love is not proud and it is not boastful, so when we are said to have love then all these qualities should manifest in us. For example if our fellow brethren has lapses we should not look down on such brethren and also love is not provoked.
1 Corinthians 14:5 I also learnt from this scripture that love is not hot tempered. It doesn't find fault and therefore is not provoked. Also if we have love we should never have a cause to rejoice in iniquity or sin but we should always stand by the truth.
Love brings endurance, and we should learn to tolerate people close to us. Love brings happiness and resolution, this is what God is trying to tell us. Most importantly live never fails. This is the primary doctrines of God , that we would love him first and secondly that we love our fellow men as we love ourselves. If love us in every heart I believe there would be no wrath on earth.
Lessons from today's mcgi live care
Today I learnt that God is love and he expects us to emulate love as true Christians. The primary doctrine of God is for us to love him and secondly that we should love our neighbors as we love ourselves.
Also I learnt about the qualities of love. When we have love then we wouldn't rejoice in sin but rather we would stand on the truth. Also love comes with endurance, kindness and tolerance. We should know that where there is love there is zero provocation. Love does bring anger but it brings kindness, so we should show love to our fellow brethren.
I learnt that we should trust in God with all of our heart instead of trusting fully on our own knowledge or understanding. The real power and change belongs to God and we should trust in the Lord because sometimes our own understanding or lips can deceive us.
