Do not be angry or mad when someone has done something bad to you. Do not be mad. Forgive those who offend you. Do not remember the bad things which they do to you. Do not repay evil for evil. Don't hate those who offend you.
That is the instruction from the Bible. If you want to please God, the Bible says you should forgive those who sin against you. We should show the love of God to others by forgiving the offenses which they offend us. Forgiveness is the commandment of God which we must keep.
God is the one who remembers everything. His memory is not limited. He knows all things and can remember everything. There is nothing in the world that can escape His memory. So if this God who has such an unlimited memory can forget our iniquities and offenses, why can't we ourselves forget the offenses of others? Why can't we put away the evil that people do to us?
When we walk in love, we will be able to forgive others. We should cultivate the habit of love. We should live in love with others. When love is in our hearts, we will forget the bad things that people do to us
