Just want to say this to your above statement not directed to you

A born again Christian from a Muslim background with the evidence of speaking in tongues.

The evidence of tongues as a spirit-filled child of God is good but sometimes, not all tongues come from the Spirit of God. There are some mimicking spirits that deceives new birth in Christ to think they are filled by the Spirit of God. It takes a decerning spirit to know which one is right or wrong.
All what I am saying is that speaking of tongues is not the only evidence of being born again but also the fruit of the spirits mentioned in Galatians 5:22-23.
