Staying healthy biblically part 1 || MCGI topic review

Greetings!

One of the ways that God wanted us to live is in a healthy way. God wants us to be healthy in our living and that's why he wants us to prosper health wise.

3 John 1:2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

In the scripture verse above, one of the disciples of Christ is telling us that he wishes above all things that we may prosper and be in health, even as our souls prosper.

All that's being said here is that our health matters a lot above all other things and as Christians, we should come to the knowledge of us prioritizing our health above any other thing.

Bro. Eli in this teaching made us understand that we are not like the unbelievers who take alcohol or do other vices to stay healthy which would in turn affect their health status. He said we are Christians and that what God wants for us is good health.

Furthermore, Bro. Eli also made us understand that we can go old in sound health as against the popular belief that people's health gets deteriorated as they grow old.

Deuteronomy 34:7 And Moses was a hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated.

Bro. Eli uses the above scriptural verse to buttress the fact that we can grow old in sound health. He quoted the above scriptural verse about Moses who was 120 years when he died without his eyes getting dimmed, nor his natural force abated.

Also, in furtherance of his teaching, he also said Moses didn't die a natural death as he was commanded in Deuteronomy 32:49-50 to die by God which shows he didn't die of old age sicknesses as we have now.

In conclusion, our sound health system is strongly backed up by the bible and as believers we must live a life of sound and good health, we must stay healthy.
