Greetings!
The only way to keep our family according to the bible is to fear the Lord and obey all his commandments. By doing so, we can be so sure of a united family.
Psalms 103:17 But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children;
What the above scripture verse is telling us is about how a family can be kept intact by the mercy of the Lord which is from everlasting to everlasting and that only way is to fear the Lord and keep his commandments which will also make the righteousness of God before upon our children's children.
Also in Ecclesiastes 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
We were also made to know in the scripture above that the duty of a man is to fear and keep the commandments of God which means that's the only option we've got to keep our family intact.
How can we now fear the Lord? The answer is in Romans 7:2, For the woman who hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.
Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.
That only way according to Bro. Eli is to fear the Lord and obey his law, but when talking about the fear of the Lord, it's not like that normal fear of the beast or wild animals like lions, tiger etc, the fear of the Lord here is all about referencing and loving him and through which we obey his law.
In conclusion, doing all these will surely amount to us keeping our family intact in unity biblically.
