1 Corinthians 11:22 - What? have ye not houses to eat and to drink in? or despise ye the church of God, and shame them that have not? What shall I say to you? shall I praise you in this? I praise you not.
I greet you all in the name of the Lord. The church of the is a place where orderliness should be held at hight esteem. The statement made in the scripture above was made by Apostle Paul. He was making the statements to the early Christians at that time.
During that time, when the Christians took the communion, they took it in an unworthy manner. Some of them ended up getting drunk in the name of taking the communion. Apostle Paul was angry at such behaviour of theirs and rebuked them for doing so. This doesn't end only in the aspect of taking the Holy communion, it is applicable to other aspects also in the house of God.
Everything we do in the house of God should be done with fear and reverence to God in heaven. We don't do things of our own accord or however we please. Even when Jesus was on earth He told His disciples that he doesn't do things of His own accord but of God His father. If there's a place we shouldn't fail to be well-mannered it is the house of God.
