During Jesus's first 30 years on earth he was regarded as an average person. Most people saw him as nobody. Even before the day he was born and it was prophesied that he would come out of Nazareth people people on hearing this began to wonder within themselves if anything good could ever come out of Nazareth.
Jesus is the meekest person I know. The Bible describes him as slowly in personality. Jesus's humility made people to even look down on him. When Jesus's earthly father, Joseph, died Jesus didn't mind taking up his father's occupation as a carpenter. Inspite of his divine nature, his power, and his status as being the son of God Jesus didn't mind what people thought about him. Even during his early days in ministry when people didn't regard him as such he didn't take it to heart.
A lot of us Christians know Jesus for his miracles but often time we even forget that there was a period where Jesus took the status of a carpenter. One thing I learned from this teaching is being able to live a life of lowliness and humility just like Jesus did. Jesus lived his life with the intention of serving humanity. He lived the servant kind of life even though he is the King of Kings and the Lord of lords. This Is how we as Christians are meant to live our lives.
