Here are the points I got from Today's Mass Indoctrination.
The Bible gives us a guide on praying, these include:
📖 Avoiding repetitive prayers. Matthew 6:7-8 admonishes us not to use vain repetitions. Because it's the way of heathens who feel they could attract God's attention by that.
This discourages the use of Rosary. The Rosary is anti Bible but an invention of Saint Dominic in 1214 who claimed to have received it from the Virgin Mary.
Matt. 6:8 shows us that prayer is between God and His children. Infact, a sinner's prayer is an abomination unto God
Methods of praying include, but not exclusive to:
📖 Praying in the secret of our homes, churches et al, because it's a business between you and God and doesn't require showing off to men. Matt. 6:5-6.
📖 Kneeling in prayers. Matt. 11:25. This shows humility, reverence and respect to God. Acts 20:36, Mtt. 6:5-6 and even our Lord Jesus Christ exemplified this.
📖 Bowing to God. This shows God's supremacy and our reverence and respect to Him. None visits the Queen of England without bowing.
📖 Women ought to cover their hair* which is their covering while men uncover theirs. Because the hair is a woman's covering, while the man is the woman's covering.
