Hi, everyone, my name is Uju Tony Nwachukwu and I'm a Nigerian. This is my entry post for the Day 2 (Two) of the Mass Indoctrination and my first entry post since this year. yay!!... I'm excited about that one.
The teaching was done by Bro Eli-Soriano of blessed memory. He started off the teaching with a core concept of the doctrine of Christ and the Church of God. Took one of his texts from
++Ephesians 1:13 NKJV "In Him, you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise" ++
he taught about acceptance into the body of Christ.
He taught that a good name is better chosen than riches and this he cited from the Proverbs 22:1. This means that churches should be named after the good God.
He also mention a very important truth, which is the gentiles being part of the body of Christ. and by Gentiles, we mean every outside the jurisdiction of the earthly Israel and Jew. this include even my continent, Africa. 😂.. Yeah.
He mentioned how some doctrines worship animals and stuff. Human beings are higher creations or creatures according to the order of things from God and according to science, we are higher animals. God warned against man worshiping the created instead of the creator.
++James 3:7-12 New International Version 7 All kinds of animals, birds, reptiles and sea creatures are being tamed and have been tamed by mankind, 8 but no human being can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison.++
**Talking about giving our lives to Christ, is far beyond raising up our hands and saying some conventional prayer. It means rejecting to live according to the designs and patterns of the earth. it means accepting to live a holy and righteous life in Christ. Jesus responding to this issue, makes a very remarkable statement in the book of Luke. **
++Luke 9:62 Jesus replied, “No one who puts a hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God.”++
In all, he poured out so much in-depth knowledge about the Church of God and the doctrines of Christ which will help us to live and lead a great life.
