On this day, we were taught on The Apparel Commanded by God to the Church.

2Cori 4:16-18

16For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. 17For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; 18while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Things i learnt from the teaching.

1. We were taught that God gave us commandment about the kind of apparel for both the outer and inner man.
2. I learnt that the outward man which is the flesh gets weak but the inner man is stronger according to the bible verse above.
3. According to Matthew 7:15

15Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

I learnt that not all men has the inner man which is of God. Many has no inner man but beast in them and that why they work and act against the will of God. 2Pet 2:22

The signs that you're a man or beast according to Rom 7:22

22For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: 23but I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.

To know that you have the Man spirit, your inner man will delight in the laws of God. Psalm 40:8
But the beast man doesn't work according to the will of God. It's work against the love of God.

Adorning for the outward man (1Pet 3:3-4)
I learnt that as a woman, we're not to adorn our body flamboyantly but with all modesty to glorify God.
When a woman cares so much about her body and look, such woman is able to forget God cause she will begin to worship her body and look and by doing this, she gives room for another god in her life.
God want us to be contended with how Hes has created us and what He has given us (Rom 9:20)

The incorruptible apparel for the inner man(1Pet 3:4)

4but let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.

We're to adorn our inner man with the word of God (Jhn 6:63, Josh 1:8)

Lessons to learn!
When you dress, let it be of total modesty which glorifies God. 1Timo 2:9
Too much of decoration spoils the beauty
Nourish both your inner and outer man with the right adornment.

In conclusion, we must fulfil all the commandment given to us.
