Praise be to God for granting me the privilege to participate in today's bible study.
The knowledge of the father and the knowledge of the son
Matthew 11:27, We were taught that the knowledge of the father is with the son and the knowledge of the son is with the father. That means, no one knows the father except the son likewise no one knows the son except the father.
Proverbs 8:12, Wisdom dwells with prudence. I learnt that wisdom was with God when the heavens were made. In verse 22, wisdom said, that the Lord possessed him in the beginning of his way, before the works of the old. Wisdom was set up from everlasting . He was brought up when there was no depth and when there were no fountain abounding with water. In a nutshell, wisdom was in existence before the world was created.
Who is the wisdom
The wisdom spoken in the book of proverbs is Jesus Christ. Luke 11:49 the wisdom of God said, I will will send them prophets and apostles and some of them shall slay and persecute. Confirming that Christ is the wisdom, Matthew 10:1 Christ called the 12 apostles and gave them power against all unclean spirit. The wisdom was with God before the creation of anything.
Another proof that Christ is the wisdom is in 1 Corinthians 1:24, Christ is the wisdom of God and the power of God. This has proven the truth.
Also it is through the wisdom that all things were made. Psalms 104:24 in wisdom was all things made. The wisdom was Christ. Christ is not only the wisdom of God but also the word of God. John 1:1-3, In the beginning was the word. The bible says that the word was with God and the same word is God. This shows that Christ was there from the beginning and before the foundation of the world. Christ was the instrument used for creation. God framed the world by the word of God. From the bible quotations of today, It is very clear that Christ is the wisdom of God and nothing was created without him.
