Hello, MCGI family; it's another amazing time to learn and know more about God and the scriptures.
Today's topic is a very interesting topic in which most people fail to talk about it but then, thank God for MCGI for always revealing the truth from the scriptures.
So are we financially responsible to other people?
According to Bro. Eli Soriano; It is part of our obligation as Christians to look into the welfare of others."
Looking at the scripture;
1 John 3:17
"But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?"
This means that if we are blessed to have material possessions and resources and then see how fellow brethren are in need, struggling, or in difficulties but then choose to withhold our kindness or help from them, then we don't have love in our hearts. We are to show love and compassion to those who need us in every little way we can. Look for a need or want that someone desperately needs and help out in whatever way you can.
This is exactly what MCGI is doing; they don't just preach it but live this life by helping others, offering medical attention to the sick, digging boreholes for water, provisions of foodstuffs, and other needs to the needy. We should not just be Christians/believers by words, but we should also prove our love by taking action.
Another point is that, if we are financially obligated to someone or we owe, we should always endeavor to pay back because it is only the Wicked that borrows and does not pay back.
We should endeavor to always pay our dues in any way we are owing and we should not forget to financially and spiritually support our brethren in need. By doing all of these, we have the love of God in our hearts.
So that answers our question- We are financially responsible to other people.
Till we meet again, thank you for reading and for your time and support.🙌💖
Shalom!

Hmmm...amazing.
Being financially responsible to others is likewise an Act of Love of Neighbor which Christ says "...is the second most important commandment"
Nice write-up Sis. Keep being amazing.
