It's another great day to listen to the word of God by his servant Bro Eli Soriano.

To make our needs known before God, we must engage in prayer. Prayer is the channel through which we present our requests directly to God, not to any human being.

As stated in Philippians 4:6, we are instructed not to be anxious about anything. Instead, in every circumstance of life, we should present our requests to God through prayer and supplication, accompanied by thanksgiving. The apostle Paul emphasizes that no situation is too small or too great to be brought before God in prayer.

This teaches us that prayer is the only proper way to communicate our challenges, desires, and needs to God. However, prayer alone is not enough; it must be offered with faith. Faith is essential because it is through faith that we please God and position ourselves to receive answers from Him.

The Scripture in Hebrews 11:6 makes this very clear. It declares that without faith it is impossible to please God, for anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who sincerely seek Him. This verse shows that faith plays a vital role in the effectiveness of our prayers.

Furthermore, James 1:6–7 teaches that when we ask God for anything, we must ask in faith without doubting. A person who doubts is compared to a wave of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind. Such a person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. This confirms that wavering faith hinders answered prayers.

From these scriptures, we clearly see that faith is a necessary requirement for prayer to be effective. Without faith, no one can receive anything from God.

Prayer is essential for making our requests known to God, and faith is the key that unlocks answered prayers. This truth is firmly established in the Bible and consistently taught, as also emphasized by Bro. Eli.
