Greetings everyone, I welcome you all to my blog.
It's another great day to listen to the word of God by his servant Bro Eli Soriano
One of the ways God desires us to live is by maintaining a healthy lifestyle. God cares deeply about our well-being and wants us to live in good health, which is why He desires that we prosper physically as well as spiritually.
This truth is clearly expressed in 3 John 1:2, which says: “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.” In this verse, one of Christ’s disciples expresses a heartfelt desire that believers would enjoy good health and overall prosperity, just as their spiritual lives flourish.
The message here is simple yet powerful: our health is important and should not be taken lightly. As Christians, we are expected to understand the value of caring for our bodies and to make our health a priority, rather than neglecting it.
In his teachings, Bro. Eli emphasized that Christians should not live like unbelievers who rely on alcohol or harmful habits, which eventually damage their health. Instead, believers are called to live differently, knowing that God’s will for His people includes living in sound and good health.
Bro. Eli also taught that growing older does not automatically mean declining health. Contrary to the common belief that sickness must accompany old age, the Bible shows us that it is possible to grow old while remaining strong and healthy.
This is supported by Deuteronomy 34:7, which states that Moses was 120 years old when he died, yet his eyesight had not dimmed, nor had his strength failed. This verse serves as clear biblical evidence that God can sustain His servants in good health even in old age.
Furthermore, Bro. Eli pointed out that Moses did not die because of illness or age-related weakness. According to Deuteronomy 32:49–50, Moses died because God instructed him to do so, indicating that his death was not caused by physical deterioration.
In conclusion, the Bible strongly supports the principle of living in sound health. As believers, we are encouraged to embrace a lifestyle that promotes good health and honors God, remaining mindful that our bodies are also part of our service to Him.
Thank you for reading.
