Hearing but not listening to God's words// Mcgi Topic Review

A lot of people hear God’s word every day whether through church, online messages, or Bible readings but that doesn’t mean they’re truly listening. In this MCGI topic, it was clearly explained that there's a big difference between just hearing and actually paying attention with the heart. Brother Eli made it clear that listening to God involves understanding and doing what He says. If we hear the word but don’t apply it, it’s as good as ignoring it completely.

The teaching also talked about how people often get too caught up in life chasing money, fame, and other things that distract them from what really matters. Brother Daniel said that when someone is truly listening to God, it shows in how they live. Their actions change, their decisions improve, and they become more humble. Sadly, many people reject God’s word when it doesn’t fit their lifestyle, which shows they never really listened at all.

This topic is a strong reminder for all of us to check our hearts. Are we just hearing God’s word, or are we really listening and living it out? MCGI encourages us to slow down, reflect, and take God’s word seriously not just with our ears, but with our whole life. When we truly listen, we grow closer to God and become better people in the process.
