I want to make a contribution to the question- Is there punishment for those who mistranslated the Bible?

His Word is supreme and would want no man to add or subtract from His Word to mislead people. Most people twist the truth to satisfy their current reality but God frowns against those who add or subtract from
His Word.

Roman 8: 20
But who are you, my friend, to answer God back? A clay pot does not ask the man who made it,"why did you make me like this?

There was two men in the Bible that was instantly killed when they wanted to lifts there hand to touch the ark of the convert nat .
The ark in the Bible is a secret thing which God doesn't allow any man to touch it , they arisings men who can hold the ark of the convert nat.
Revelation 22:18-19
I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this scroll: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to that person the plagues described in this scroll.
Verse 19 : And if anyone takes words away from this scroll of prophecy, God will take away from that person any share in the tree of life and in the Holy City, which are described in this scroll.

We must not question God ,he knows how to deal with people in his own ways.
