LESSONS LEARNED:
Jesus Christ came down from heaven to this earth, to do the will of the father, according to John 6:38.
Jesus came in the flesh, but was a spirit, because whatsoever is born of the spirit is spirit.
He came down from the bosom of the father, as recorded in John 1:18.
God the father begot Christ Jesus, and as God is a Spirit, Christ also is a spirit.
Christ Jesus didn't originate here on earth, but came down from heaven, and was only born of Mary in the flesh, as that was the body prepared for him.
In John 3:31, it's recorded that, he that cometh from heaven is above all, and speaks concerning heaven.
According to 1 Timothy 3:16, God was manifested in the flesh. So Jesus Christ is God, and was only manifesting in the flesh.
John 1:1-3 tells us that, the word was there in the beginning, that word was God. So Christ Jesus is the word of God.
At the appointed time, God sent him to us, according to Galatians 4:4.
So Christ Jesus came from the father.
In Luke 1:35, the Angel said to Mary that the holy thing that shall be born by her shall be called the son of God.
And in Colossians 2:9, the Bible records that in him dwelleth the fullness of the Godhead bodily.
So Christ Jesus came in the flesh, but was God, having an indwelling of the Godhead.
FORMER BELIEF:
I had no contrary belief regarding this.
EFFECTS OF THE TEACHING:
It further confirms that Jesus Christ wasn't a mere human, but God in the flesh.
