DO MEN HAVE THE POWER TO KNOW THE FUTURE? // THE OLD PATH

REVIEW ON DO MEN HAVE THE POWER TO KNOW THE FUTURE?

Many people wish they could know what the future holds, but the truth is, only God knows. The Bible reminds us to trust Him instead of stressing about what’s ahead. Life can feel uncertain, and it’s normal to worry sometimes, but God wants us to live one day at a time, trusting that He has everything under control. Even when we don’t understand what’s coming, we can rest in the fact that His plans are always good.

The Bible clearly tells us that God is in charge of the future.

Isaiah 46:10 says, “I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say, ‘My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please.’”

This verse reminds us that no matter how hard we try, we can’t predict or control the future. That might feel scary at times, but it’s also comforting to know that the One who loves us most is guiding everything. We don’t have to figure it all out on our own.

Jesus also taught us not to get too caught up in worrying about tomorrow.

Matthew 6:34, He said, “Don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”

These words are a reminder to focus on what we can do today and leave the future to God. Worrying won’t change anything, but trusting Him gives us peace. God knows what we need and will take care of us when the time comes.

Even though we don’t know what the future holds, we can be confident that God’s plans are good.

Jeremiah 29:11 says, “I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “Plans to make you prosper and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

This verse is a promise that God is looking out for us. Even if we can’t see the whole picture, He is working things out for our good. Trusting God with the unknown isn’t always easy, but it helps us face each day with hope, knowing that His love is bigger than any uncertainty.
