Lessons from bible study held on 5th January 2022 via zoom

I joined the the Bible Study via zoom and I learnt a lot from the teaching of bro Eli.

From the book of numbers 23:19 I learnt that :
-Our God do not lie. God is not human he is our Alpha and Omega the beginning and the end what he says he will do he will surely do it .

-God do not repent like humans and the only time he did was when the people of Nineveh in the Bible prayed and fasted as he promised to destroy them before but their repentance made God not to do it again

Moses said the words in the scripture just analyzed that God does not repent like a man and he won’t lie even when some will say the Bible is contradictory like when God says he will destroy Nineveh but when they fasted and repented from their way he didn’t. I’m other words if we can change from our bad ways our repentance is the only reason to make God changed as seen in the Bible otherwise our God is unchangeable backed up by the book of Jonah 3 vs 4-10, Romans 1:26-27
