I did a little check up on my marriam Webster Dictionary and it tell of an act of worshipping a god or group of god's, in another meaning it says it's a system of beliefs, ceremonies, and rules used to worship a god or group of god's, bro Eli emphatically reiterated on his teachings that religion means worshipping God, the only true God who created the heavens and the earth, and that is called true worship.
That's why the Book of John 4:23-24 expresses God's desires, it says God is seeking those true worshippers that will worship him in spirits and in truth without any alternatives, because many people have different god's which they worship, so God seeks those that will be his, to me this is an amazing part of God that humbles me.
How God who created us all, who could have made us all subjects to him, to worship day and night just like the angels do, but no, he gave man freedom of choice to decide as he pleases, the will power to choose and to decide, it would have been easy for God to tune as all to worship him in truth and in spirit, he says he needs those that will worship him in spirit and in truth.
Bro Eli draws his definition of Religion from ancient Greek terminology, to worship, but they are many other forms of worship, those who worship craven images instead of the true God he says those are false religion, the only true religion is when we worship the only true and wise God who created the heavens and the earth.
In Romans 1:25, Those who now worship the creature Instead of the creator are practicing false religion and are blindly led by false doctrines of men instead of what the bible truly teaches,
In Acts 11:26 the followers of Christ were first call Christians at Antioch, because the people observed them behaving like Christ, that is their way of life, as Christians, which got me to believe Christain-(ity) is not A Religion but a way of life, if others could see it through the disciples and see the christ-like behaviors in them, that also should be our way of life, were we act, talk, walk and live like Christ worshipping and exhibiting the character of the only true God.
