What does heaven look like? | The Old Path - WHAT I LEARNED

There are parts of heaven that can be imagined based on how the Bible describes it, but we do not have a complete description of the entire heaven, which is the abode of God/paradise.

For example, the description John shared with us when he was taken up by the spirit in Revelation 4:1-11

1 After this I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven! And the first voice, which I had heard speaking to me like a trumpet, said, “Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after this.” 2 At once I was in the Spirit, and behold, a throne stood in heaven, with one seated on the throne. 3 And he who sat there had the appearance of jasper and carnelian, and around the throne was a rainbow that had the appearance of an emerald. 4 Around the throne were twenty-four thrones, and seated on the thrones were twenty-four elders, clothed in white garments, with golden crowns on their heads. 5 From the throne came flashes of lightning, and rumblings and peals of thunder, and before the throne were burning seven torches of fire, which are the seven spirits of God, and before the throne there was as it were a sea of glass, like crystal. And around the throne, on each side of the throne, are four living creatures, full of eyes in front and behind: source

Verse 7-11

7 the first living creature like a lion, the second living creature like an ox, the third living creature with the face of a man, and the fourth living creature like an eagle in flight. 8 And the four living creatures, weach of them with six wings, are full of eyes all around and within, and yday and night they never cease to say,“Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord God Almighty, who was and is and is to come!”9 And whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to him who is seated on the throne, who lives forever and ever, 10 the twenty-four elders fall down before him who is seated on the throne and worship him who lives forever and ever. They cast dtheir crowns before the throne, saying,11 “Worthy are you, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they existed and were created.”source

This is what John saw when he entered the heaven that opened for him. However, the above scriptures which give a summary of what John saw doesn't give a totality of what the abode of God looks like.

More so, aside from what John shared, Bro. Eli made us know that there is a tree of life, a river of life (ie. a crystal of life). Additionally, Moses saw it in a vision on Mount Sinai but could not share what he saw - meaning some things are kept secret to those who will keep the faith to the end.

Romans 8:18 Apostle Paul shared that the glory ahead (heaven) is beyond imagination. So the admonition is for us to strive to the end. Also in 1 Corinthians 2:9, Bro Eli concluded that heaven is beyond what has been said, seen or felt by mortals.

But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.1 Corinthians 2:9

For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.Romans 8:18

with this description, we can say that when we get to heaven, we will praise God all day long as we do on earth. How wonderful is the name of God.

I don't think any description than ever equate to the true appearance of heaven, beautiful is even an understatement.
