The teachings of God should never be overlooked. What has God taught men? He said men should love their wives.
If you love something, you will surely take care of it. Therefore, men should always take care of the woman they claim to love and not just treat them anyhow.
If you love something or someone, you treat them just exactly how you wish to be treated.
Let’s check what the Bible says;
Ephesians 5:28 tells us that; “So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.”
If you love your wife, you will love yourself and if you are happy with your wife, you will be happy with yourself.
What is the main factor that causes domestic violence? It is the devil. Satan himself is the one that interrupts people’s marriage and make them each other’s enemies.
For this reason, a marriage has to be strong and held firm with the power of the Lord. This means that people should let God rule their marriage and if they can make that happen, there will be no form of domestic violence in the marriage because God himself doesn’t want any man to beat or raise his hands on his wife.
God loves love and He also treats us kindly because He loves us. If God can treat us well because He loves us, we should also make sure that we do well by the people we love especially our families and our spouses.
