I am so excited to be here in this community and to share the amazing teachings from Bro Eli and the lessons I have learnt.
The topic: What makes a true disciple is an interesting one and it caught my attention.
I listened through it and it has simplified the easiest way of becoming a Christian.
I have learned that I cannot be a true disciple if I do not follow the teachings of our lord Jesus Christ
Matthew 28:19-20 (KJV) Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
The verse above is a criteria of being a true disciple.
Acts 11:26 (KJV) And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.
Here the disciples where acting like Christ that's why they were called Chris.
I pray as I study more of his words and follow his teaching may I be transform more and more into a true disciple of Jesus Christ.Amen.
