Brother Eli teaching about the difference between the Law of Moses and the Gospel of Christ. This will be a lot of truth and this also shows the beauty of true Christianity.
That is being taught that the preaching of our Lord Jesus Christ was not the continuation of the Ten Commandments but this was the higher and more perfect way of life which is the Gospel of Love and Mercy and Righteousness.
Why the Law of Moses? We are more focused on loving one's neighbour and which is hating one's enemy. We have been taught something far greater that is to love even our enemies. This teaching reflects our divine nature of the Love of God which is unconditional and boundless.
It is easy to love those who love us but at this point it takes true faith and humility to love those who despise us. So, this is the essence of the Gospel. Brother Eli will emphasize it that the Christian life must be worthy of the Gospel of Christ and Apostle Paul said in Philippians 1:2.
This means that living not by the standard of worldly religions or traditions but to the teachings of Christ which is also found in Matthew 5:7. To me this message is a personal reminder that being a Christian is not just about our religion.
It's about what we do to transform our life. It's about living the daily life of humility. We must show compassion for one another and love just as Jesus Christ has taught us.
