We have a teaching that clearly brings us
to the definition of true religion. This is not just a labor or a denomination, but this is a worship obedience to our God.
Using this scripture, this shows that religion
is not an empty ceremony, but it is an element to the truth of God. In James 1, it says this is the religion. If our tongues is uncontrolled, it's filled with so many hatred, lies, then our worship will be empty.
This reminds us that true worship must be seen in how we live our life, not just in what we profess. This emphasises the church of the living God, which is the pillar and ground of the issues that God has established all that instruction and discipline for those who want to serve him. Worship is not just a divine design. This land, for example, is a place of worship. Worship is not just a divine design.
The most striking thing is a reminder for God seeks us to worship. We worship in spirit and truth. When we worship God, it is being directed to creatures rather than the creator. Any worship that is directed to creatures rather than the creator, as Romans 1 wants, it is very bad. This teaching challenges us to keep examining our life. Are we truly worshipping God or are we just following his tradition?
