All glory be unto God in heaven for an opportunity to be in his presence and to partake in the worship of his holy name. The service was a blast indeed and I was opportuned to learn a lot. I was blessed indeed and I believe so was each and every other brethren who attended. The MCGI cares thanks for what all that you do.
Summary Of What I Learnt.
From the scriptures in Revelations 14 vs 13 From this passage I was made to understand that, those who died in Christ will receive eternal rest from all of their labours, they shall be by the right hand of God. The Bible made it clear to us that, Apostle John was hearing a voice which said he should write that blessed is anyone who dies in Christ, whoever dies in Christ shall obtain eternal rest from the father. Whoever dies in Christ, the Lord will give them rest from all the work they did for God. Today christians are encouraged to serve God who is their creator while they are alive so that God will give them rest where there will be no gnashing of teeth, just peace and harmony.
From the Bible in Acts 17:28 From this passage I learnt that, as Christians we live in Christ our savior and we as well have our being in Christ our savior, this simply makes us offsprings of Christ and as offsprings of Christ we are expected to emulate the lifestyle of Christ. The Bible made it clear to us that as believers we live in Christ and we have our being in Christ, so we are offsprings of Christ.
From the service I learnt that we move and live in Christ Jesus alone, Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior of the world, so we must be emulate his every lifestyle and serve him for as long as we live.
From the Scriptures in Romans 8 vs 28 From this passage I was made to understand that, everything works for the good of those that loves God, christians who loves doing the things of God and don't go against the will of God, God always answers there prayers. The Bible made it clear to us that, All things work together for good in the life of those that loves God.
From the scriptures in Acts 10 vs 38 From this passage I was made to understand that, God anointed our lord and savior Jesus Christ to carry out his Goodwill, and Christ never failed in doing the will of his father who is in heaven. All through Christ stay here on earth he was doing the good work of his father. Christ went from City to City talking about the kingdom, bringing multitude together. The Bible made it clear to us that, Christ was anointed and from the anointing he got the power he needed to do the good work of his father.
From the scriptures in 1 John 5 vs 3 From this passage I was made to understand that, God's love for humanity is immeasurable despite how sinful we are, which is the reason why God gave us commandments and doctrines for us to follow and abide by them, the commandments of God is not grievous and neither are his doctrines hard to follow, whosoever abides by the doctrines of Christ will never regret doing so for they shall be rewarded heavenly. The Bible made it clear to us that, God's commandments are not grievous and also his doctrines are not hard to follow, God can never give us commandments that grievous neither will he give us doctrines that will be difficult to follow instead he makes sure everything is something we can do.
