Mass indoctrination Day 12 on 25-Jan-22.

I say thanks to God for his grace that is sufficient in our lives as members of the MCGI congregation. The service was a blessing to all that attended, thank you brother Eli for sharing.

A summary of all that was said during the service.
From the service I was made to understand that the heart of every man is what controls their every action, if a man is rude it is as a result of the heart, if a man is kind it is also a function of the heart, if a man is good or wicked it is the heart that determines that. In the Bible we were able to pin point few types of heart and also made to know that the heart is actually what makes up a man, every choice a man makes it is from the heart.

We heard the parable of the sower who went to sow good seeds on his field, and a breakdown of where theses seeds fell was given, we heard from the parable that some seeds fell by the roadside, some fell on Rocky ground and some fell on good ground where they grew and produced a bountiful harvest for the sower.

From the parable we were able to find out that the heart is the location where those seeds fell, some people have a roadside kind of heart, some have the rocky ground kind of heart while some have the good ground kind of heart, whenever we here the word (seed) whatever we do with it determines the type of heart that we have.

I was made to understand that the seed is the word of God which been preached to us while the places it fell are seen as our hearts. The good ground is the best heart to have.

From the parable, the roadside kind of heart is a type of heart that cannot hold onto the word of God for a long period of time, so the devil does justice to it by stealing the word/seed that was planted in their hearts, Believers are encouraged today, to always listen to the preaching of the word and hold on to it always so that the devil does not snatch away from them.

From the parable, the kind of heart that is classified as the rocky ground is that heart that heard the word of God but when temptations popped up, since the word had no strong root in their lives due to the rocky ground, they had to let go, they were overwhelmed by the temptations.

From the parable the kind of heart that is seen as those seeds/word which fell in the midst of thorns are the type of heart which received the word/seed with plenty of gladness, as a result of one difficulty or another, they could no longer hang on to the word and the thorns spranged up and choked the seed which is the word in their heart.

Lastly those hearts that are seen as the good ground and as fertile soil are the type of heart which hears and speaks of the word, they abided by the word, they did not give the devil the chance to steal it. They kept the word in their heart and it grew and produced fruit.

For every Believer who does not have a heart like that of the good ground should their ways. Every Believers heart should be like the good ground which accepts the word, keep it in their heart until it grows and be productive.
In Ezekiel 36:26-27 we saw the promises of God to those who keep their hearts pure and allows the word to stay in their hearts forever. God will make any heart that is like the good ground a fruitful heart.

I used to think this parable of the sower was just a regular farmer, planting his seeds on his field, I never knew it carried extra meaning like this, I will work on my heart to ensure I have the heart of the good ground.

How does the study affect us that can make us a better way person that we can use in our daily lives?

On no account will I give the enemy the chance to snatch away the word that has been sown in my life, this is how the study affected me.
