DAY 13 MASS INDOCTRINATION 30/3/2022 WITH BRO ELI

All glory be unto God in heaven for an opportunity to be in his presence and to partake in the worship of his holy name. The service was a blast indeed and I was opportuned to learn a lot. It is a blessing each time I listen to brother Eli.

Summary of what I learnt.
From the service I was made to understand that we should never eat any food offered to idols because it is not allowed for believers to eat such. Christians should never eat from any table that is ungodly.

From the scriptures in John 1 vs 1 from here I was made to understand that, everything created was created by words from the mouth of God, the Bible says that in the beginning was the word of God and the word was with God and the word was also God.

From the scriptures in Psalms 115:4 vs 5 from here I was made to understand that, Idols are actually man made god for they
were carved out of silver, wood and golds. Idols have eyes but cannot see and same time have legs but cannot walk, they also have ears but cannot hear. The Bible says that, idols are silver and gold and are man made, for they have mouth but cannot speak, they have eyes but cannot see, all idols are created by man whether ancient or modern all are man made.

From the scriptures in Mark 3 vs 29 From here I was made to understand that, we should never speak anything that contradicts the laws of the holy Spirit as it is a grief sin. Whenever we talk about the holy spirit, it should always be something nice and good, not something criticizing the affairs of the holy Spirit. Anyone who blaspheme against the holy spirit will never be forgiven, sinning against the holy Spirit leads to spending your eternity in the lake of fire. As believers never speak ill about the holy Spirit for doing so can lead to eternal condemnation. Never speak ill about the holy Spirit.

From the scriptures in Revelations 22 vs 8 from the passages I was made to understand that even apostle John bowed before Mary but she refused and told him she is not the Master and that he should only bow and worship God alone, she did all these because she is also human and is a creation of God. From here we learnt that we should only bow to God most High and no other god. It is God alone who deserves our worship.

From the scriptures in Acts 25 vs 29 from the passage I was made to understand that, as believers we never eat from the food offered to idols. Food offered to idols are no longer clean for believers to eat from, food offered to idols defiles a believer therefore believers should not eat food offered to idols. The Bible says we should abstain from meat offered to idols and also abstain from meat that was strangled, we should also abstain from every form of fornication and if we abstain from all these we will experience progress in our lives. Believers are encouraged to abstain from all these so as to experience progress in their lives
