Bible Study held On 6/02/2022.

I really thank God for the opportunity to listen to his word and for the opportunity to be a partaker of his service. I was opportuned to learn a lot from the service and thanks to God.

SUMMARY OF WHAT I LEARNT.

From the service today, where we were taught a lot about things we as believers and brethren are allowed to eat and what we are prohibited to eat. As followers of God there are certain animal that we not allowed to eat neither are allowed to come in contact with those animals.

From the service today we actually heard that the Lord our God prohibits us, his people from eating animals that crawls, some of these animals includes: snakes, lizards, and it even includes few that flies in the air and example of such are the bats. It is highly prohibited for any believer to ever eat of any of these animals as the Lord is not in support of such acts. To actually prove that what the bible says is true and really is the word of God, we can take a look at how various diseases and viruses came upon mankind just because they ate of the animals we were asked not to eat, Ebola virus was to have been caused by bats alongside the Corina virus is suspected to be caused by the same animals as well. When we look at we see that the Bible does not tell lies.

From the scriptures in Leviticus 11 vs 28 from where I was made to understand that if you ever touch or eventually come in contact with any animal that is said to be uncleaned in the Bible, you will have to wash the clothes you were putting on when the contact took place and such a person will remain unclean until it's noon. This shows that eating and having contact in any way with unclean animals is highly prohibited.

From the scriptures in Genesis 1 vs 11 from where I learnt that the act of trying to meddle with whatever God has created naturally is not a good, and is frowned upon by God and such an act should be discouraged amongst believers and brethren, as our God does not support such an act.

From the service I got to know that humans have launched another new form of technology which deals with genetics and it is called the Genetically Modified Organisms (GMO), this form of technology, deals with trying to change God's natural creation into an artificial creation, they meddle with God's natural creation which is a bad thing.

From the scriptures in Leviticus 19 vs 19 from this passage of the Bible I learnt that practicing and carrying out cross breeding in animals is also prohibited by God Almighty, he created everything to be natural, therefore conveying he's creation into artificial is highly prohibited.

During the service we were opportuned to look at some disadvantages of cross breeding.

1. Animals reproduced through cross breeding are not strong, rather always weak.
2. They do not live long or up to the expected months or years.
3. Animals produced through cross breeding are not nutritious to the body.

I was also made to understand that we as believers should never have anything to do with cross breeding, as it is an act that meddle with God's natural creation.
I was made to understand that, the act cross breeding scatters God's initial plans of natural creation, we can already see that animals reproduced naturally are way stronger than those reproduced by cross breeding.

From the scriptures I was made to understand that God is the only source of life, no other source can give life except for God Almighty. From the scriptures in Acts 17 vs 26 God created us all human and made us all one blood, of all nations of the earth, we might be from different Nations but we all carry one blood. God gave man the earth as his home. Each and every one living in the surface of the earth cane from one blood.
Genesis 3 vs 20 from here we learnt that Eve is the mother of every living things on the surface of the earth The scriptures already made that clear that all Man is from one woman even before the" mitochondria theory which states that men came from one mother. This shows that All theories against the origin of life are all lies and from the devil. One of such theory is "The primordial soup theory of 1920", this also states that life actually began from the bond or ocean as a result of chemical combinations. This is known to be against the law of creation because we were made to understand in the bible man was created from the dust of the ground. After creation, we were made to know that man was lifeless until the source of life breathes life into him through his nostrils.

Furthermore, I learnt that God is the source of the life we enjoy today. He creates life.
I was made to understand that as brethren and as followers of Christ, we are expected to live by the doctrines of our lord Jesus Christ and to also keep his commandments at all time, we as his followers are not expected to eat of any unclean animal and as well we are not expected to partake in anything related cross breeding.

FORMER BELIEVE.

I I for once never thought cross breeding was actually a sin before God, I used to believe it's just an agricultural process of reproduction until today that belief has been proven otherwise.

HOW THE STUDY AFFECTS ME.

As a believer and a follower of Christ I will avoid and never eat of any unclean animal just as the Lord our God commands.
