SUMMARY OF WHAT I LEARNT.
From the service I was made to understand what is meant by a true church. I was made to understand what is meant to be called a true church.
We digged deep into scriptures and discovered the type of churches that ought to be called a true church. A Church should be called a true church because it owned by God and was created by him, the scriptures as well proves that God is the owner of the churches and the church should be called the church of God.
From the scriptures in Romans 1 vs 16 from here we as brethren are encouraged to come together and be one body in the Church of God.
From the scriptures in Matthew 16 vs 18 from the passage we can hear Jesus talking about building his Church on the rock and even the gates of hell Shall not prevail against the Church, from the passage Jesus told us that the church is his Church and the Church should be named after the the owner. That is the church of God.
From the scriptures in John 12 vs 49 here the bible made us to understand that Jesus Christ only speaks of only the word the father has instructed and commanded him and exactly what the father commands him to say is what he tells us. When Jesus Christ talked about building his and the gate of hell Shall not prevail, those words came right from God the Father through him into the people.
From Deuteronomy 18 vs 18 from here we were made to understand that God also lifts prophet from amongst the believers, and he put his words in thier mouth and speaks through them, he manifest himself through those prophets he selects from amongst the brethren. God is our master, brethren are not allowed to worship or serve any other master except God, brethren are to always follow his doctrines.
From the scriptures in 1 Timothy 3 vs 16 from here I learnt that the bible actually tells us all we need to know about God the son, how he took human form and lived amongst us, it says God manifested in flesh, justified in spirit and even the angels behheld his Glory as he preached about the kingdom to the people.
From the scriptures in 1 Thessolonians 2 vs 14 from the passage I was made to understand that as believers we are already part of the Church of God. Every believer is a member of the church of God.
FORMER BELIEVE.
I thought Jesus spoke and taught using his own word but the service made me to see that Jesus Christ only spoke of begat the father commanded him to speak.
HOW DOES THE SERVICE AFFECT ME.
I realized that Jesus Christ was not speaking his own words but that of the father, so I will always abide by the words of God that came into us through Jesus Christ.
