My benefits from mass indoctrination, Day 3

Good evening everyone. Am Brother Ajah Kelvin and am doing this post to share my benefits from the masd indoctrination Day 3 on the tenth August 2022.

The preacher, Bro Eli reminded that we are still in the process of learning so we won't fall into the hands of false prophets/teachers. Saint John admonished us in 1Jn4:1, to test every spirit if they be of God or not for there are many false teachers out there. Apostle Peter in 2Peter 3 also warned that there are those teach the gospel but they teach lies and we should watch out for them. During the time of Christ and the Apostles they were there and are still in the world with us. Christ is the only true teacher appointed to us by God. During His baptism, God revealed this that we should only listen to Christ and not any other person. So anything taught contrary to the teachings of Christ should be considered false. We are to examine the doctrine taught today and compared it to what is written in the bible. The bible serves as a weighing scale and that weighs what we those and give approval as such. Anything not written isn't a commandment of Christ. According to Ecclesiates 7:27,we are to compare things one to another to be able to find out the truth about a matter. Paul admonished us in 1 Thesalononia 6:21 to proof all things and hold fast to that which is good. In Romans 12:9,he told us to cleave to that which is good. Hence, it our obligation to find out that which is the truth and that which is not and by doing so, we can do the truth and it's by then can be able to proof all things whether they be good or not.

The teaching today was mainly centered on prayer as one of the doctrine taught by Christ. When we pray, we are to do that to God only. Praying is a commandment of Christ and if we must pray, then we must also know how to pray because some prays, but their prayers are in vain. In John 9:31,we learnt that God doesn't hear the prayers of sinners and their prayers too. In Psalms 15:8,there we see that the sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to God but He delights in the prayers of the upright. God is always delight having those that are pure in their heart coming before Him in prayers. When we pray, we should have in our mind that God is every where and He doesn't need to come down from His throne for Him to hear us. According to Matthew 6:8, before we even pray God knows what we want to ask Him about, so we don't need to be repeating our words while praying. God isn't deaf. When we pray too , we shouldn't be like the Hypocrites that stand on the street to pray for them to be seen of much men, for such have their own reward. When we go into the house of God to pray, we are to conduct ourselves properly without moving up and down and pray to our Father in heaven. In Matthew 29:39,we saw Jesus praying and kneeling down horizontally to do so. In Acts 20:26,the Apostles too kneeled down in horizontal position while praying. we are to follow the ways of Christ. Praying while standing is a sin, but if we want to kneel, then it should be horizontally and not vertically.

Apart from kneeling while praying, a woman is expected to cover her head while praying, if she prays with her head open, then she dishonored her head. The man isn't expected to cover his own head while praying-1Corinthians 11:3. The head of the woman is the man and the head of the man is Christ and the Father of Christ, the highest authority. The man cover his head, then he is dishonoring his head for the man represents the authority of Christ and the woman being under the man. The woman's hair for the glory of her husband. In conclusion,

• we should use vain repetitions while praying
  *we should pray for men to see us
  *we should kneel horizontally while praying
  *The woman is to cover her head while praying
  *the man is not cover his head while praying, for he is a representation of the authority of Christ and would be dis-honouring his head if he covers it while praying.
