Mass indoctrination Day 11 on the 22/8/22

in MCGI Cares Hive2 years ago

Good day everyone. Hope we all had a great day. Am Bro Ajah Kelvin and am doing to this post to share my lessons on the day 11 mass indoctrination.

The topic was on the works for which God leaves for the fulfillment for His children. According to Isa28:10-13,There are some people that the words of God is just observed religiously precepts upon precepts but they are full of filthiness and rottenness and vomit;they prefer doing evil over and over again just as a dog returned to its vomit -Prv 26:12. They are feeding from a different table other than of Christ. we further Saw in Luke 22:27 that there are two types of table;Christ table and the devils table. 1Cor10:21, Christ table is the church and Christ the one that serves on his table. Christ feeds His children on his table. There are people who feed on dirty table because of their evil ways. They are feeding from the devil's table and hence they are full of evil and corruption and they prefer to continue in their evil ways. we should be like them. If we are feeding from Christ table, then we ought to behave as Christ ie we should be Christ-like in our behavior.

We also saw in the study that there are doctrine that God would leave up to us to fulfill-1cor14:37. There are things we should do voluntarily even if we aren't told to do so. Even in man's law,it's not every thing we do on commandments, there are certain things that we are expected to do voluntarily without being dictated to us. In the true church,We are led by Holy spirit and He guides us on what to do in the house of God. There should be willingness to do certain things that are good and acceptable in the sight of God even without told or reminded to do so. In Isaiah 1:19,if we are willing and obedient we shall be rewarded. There is reward for being willing. what are the then things to do voluntarily in the house if God?
Num30:2,vow is one of the things to be done voluntarily without any compulsion. It's not a commandment from God, but its something that is up to us as we have so decided. A vow comes from us ie it's decided by man and not by God for man because it's to be fulfilled by man. For instance, placing a condition for priest to refrain from marriage isn't a vow because it is place on them by the authority and not a self decided thing; it was mandatorily. It's not evil not to marry, it's just about fulfilling what is beingvowed. But when we vow it's good we keep to our vows. When we vow ,we are the ones that is placing obligation on ourselves. In Acts 18:18,Paul made a bow and there we saw him shaving his hair because of the vow he made. We can make vow to stop an evil attitude and ask God for help and he would help us but when we vow, we must keep to it for God delights not in fools instead it would have been matter if we don't vow at all- Ecl5:4-5. Bro Eli's mum made a vow to wake up for 9 nights to pray for her husband to returned and God brought it to pass.
We can make a vow and fast and pray about it. When we vow we should do according to what we have decided.
2cor9:7,we are to give according to as we have profess. Contributions should be based on the decision of the people willingly, but shouldn't be mandated to do this. Even if there is a need, the brethren are to decide what to give and not a fixed amount to it. Once there is a fixed amount it's no longer voluntary. We need contribution for the smooth running of activities in the house of God. When we give,we should do so according to the decision of our heart. But we see some gathering were fixed amount are made for meeting certain needs in the church. They make it an obligation for brethren to meet to it. Contribution isn't a doctrine but its decided by us. 2cor 8:3, the Macedonians gave according to their power ie based on what they decided. Some churches mandate their members to give for their own profit. 1cor16:2,collection is accepted in the true church but should be voluntarily. When the people give voluntarily, the tendency to grudge would be eliminated. Giving should be voluntarily. Phil 4:15,the
Brethren sent contribution to Paul when he was preaching in Theselonica. They did it voluntarily. Paul never expected it and he was very grateful. When we place fix price to contribution, it's no longer voluntarily because its been imposed.
Acts 4:37, Barnabas wasn't compelled but he decided on his own to sell his land and gave the money to the apostles to use for the work of God. Acts 5:1, Ananias and Safaria did same but they lied to the apostles and they both lost their lives in the process. They were never on compulsion, they were supposed to give according to what is OK by them. God wouldn't have been angry if they just brought what they decided without lying. Giving isn't a commandment but it's something that is to be decided by us how much we are to give. Another thing to be done voluntarily is vows. Thanksgiving is also a vow. Ps116:18 and should be done voluntarily so we can vow to give thanks to God to thank Him for his goodness towards us.Jr30:19,giving Thanksgiving is a fulfillment of prophesy and as the church is growing, Thanksgiving is done more often for more brethren are giving thanks for God's help in their lives. Thanksgiving is decided by man and not placed on us by God. It's legal to God if we do things voluntary.
Heb13:15 -16we are to offer the sacrifice of praise (Thanksgiving) continually ,giving voluntarily and doing good and God is pleased in it. You can do good and still give Thanksgiving.
*Thanksgiving
*Doing good
*Giving voluntarily, are all well acceptable before God.
Col3:15,in the body of Christ (the church), we are to give Thanksgiving.
Thanksgiving shows a heart of gratefulness to God. We should do it not just only in our prayers but also in the very act of giving Thanksgiving. 1thes5:18,we are to give thanks to God for everything for it's the will of God concerning us. Rm1:21,there are people who gave not thanks to God. This isn't a good attitude.
Contribution is to be counted by appointed person to avoid it from being tempered it and a report should also be accompanied the submission of the contribution.
James1:27,the Bible encouraged reaching out to those who are really weak and money is needed to reach our to them and it's gotten from the contribution given by brethrens. 2cor9:13,through the works to others via the help of the contribution ,people would come to glorifying God.

Thanks for reading through. God bless us all. You are invited to join us in the remaining study.

MCGI Cares (Hive) community's main mission is to share the words of God, not the Hive upvotes. If we get upvotes, please treat it as just a bonus. Do not focus mainly on material things as the bible is teaching us not to look at things seen but rather focus our eyes on things not seen.

II CORINTHIANS 4:18
While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
