Live worship service on the 12/8/22

Good evening brethren. Hope we are doing well by God's grace. Am Bro Ajah Kelvin and am doing this post to share with us about the live worship service held on the 12/8/22.

From the beginning of the service till the end were somuch to learn from. As a way of introduction of the program, we were admonished from the book of Colossians 3:16-17 that the word of God should dwell richly in us and that we should always sing psalms and hymns when we come together in the house of God. we sing to magnify His name for diverse reasons. In anything we do, we should do it in love so it would be acceptable before God. It's also good we offer to God when we come into His presence.
From the broadcast, we saw Mr Emilo who was poor and couldn't take his sick child to hospital; the money they had was reserved for feeding. They kept trusting and encouraging themselves in the Lord. The mcgi team eventually visited Mr Emilo's community and assisted him in the treatment of their child. Other members of the community were catered for too. The care of God is ready for everyone and we should be willing to be used by God in doing good works. Galatians 6:9,lets not be weary in well doing. Matthew 5:16,let our light so shine before men that they may glorify our father in heaven. We can win men to God through our good works.

Highlights of lessons I gained from shared lessons from other brethren;
We should live our lives according to the counsel of God-col3:8,John1:8. Advice is given based on advice and advice can either be good or bad. With God's counsel, we are able to give good advice to others who are yet to experience the word of God-Heb5:13. Those who are experienced should be example for others and for us to give advice, we must give counsel to the word of God. We are to obey God's counsel for us not to Perish. One area looked at was the area of anger. As His Children, we must let go of anger and remain calm. In Ephesians 4:24,Paul admonished us not to sin even if we are angry. Love is the key to conquer anger. we should be slow to wrath. Vengeance belongs to God and we refrain from taking vengeance (Rm12:19), for anger rest in the bossom of fools-Ec7:9.

Hearing God's advice makes us wise and allowing anger to fall on our heart, it would lead us to something evil. we should avoid filthy communication. Anger leads to doing iniquity. It is natural that we feel angry towards someone but we should allow God's word to reign in us and God's word prohibit us from doing evil to our enemies. we should do good at all times to our fellow men. Romans 12:21,we shouldn't be overcomed of evil but we should overcome evil with good. There should be difference between us and the unbelievers. The unbelievers can be changed through our good deeds. According to Matthew 5:44, Matthew 17:5,we should listen to the word of Christ for He is the teacher appointed unto us by God. Whatever Christ says is from the Father. According to Christ teaching in Matthew 5:44,we should pray and love our enemies, if they are hungry, we should feed them, if thirsty, we should give then drink and if naked, we should clothe them. we shouldn't ignore the doctrine of Christ. we should obey God's word continuously. Anything we do, we should ask ourselves, if it's of God.
It's normal being angry but we should be careful not to commit sin. we should give way to the word of God. one way to love our enemies is to give way to the wrath of God. God sees the heart. we can't see there. God knows the heart of everyone. He knows everything. we should always allow God to take vengeance. when we put away anger and wrath, then we would be allowing God's wrath to take place.
what we are to fulfill is to keep the commandments of God-Eclesiastes 12:13. It's the doers of God's word that shall be justified and not the hearers only -James1:22. The prophesy from God would be fulfilled if we keep the commandments. If we put on the bond of Charity then the peace of God would rule in us-Col3:15. we should be thankful in everything- 1Thes5:18. Jeremiah 30:19 would be fulfilled if we are thankful for what He has done for us and fulfilling the law comes with giving thanks. we fulfill the prophesy by obeying the commandments of God.
